Easy Shower Update

The day i moved into my house i installed a shower curtain. With there being a built in tub and no room for expansion i always figured that this was my only option. I was at a friends using the restroom and, as always, I was looking around at the decor. The room was the same size as mine, but I could not figure out why it looked so much nicer! And then, literally, right in front of me, I noticed it! a gorgeous piece of glass built right into the shower/bathtub. I never thought it was a possibility for me, and it took a year for me to actually see it.. but after i did I waited a total of 1 day before I rushed out to get a slab of glass and track system.

(I promise, I did some research- local glass companies were charging well over $1,000 for the low line glass and installation)

Installation was not too bad- The key to getting something done in a timely matter in my home is start the project yourself- even if you are completely not capable of it, and know it... So that is what I did. After gathering my tools

*level

*drill

*masonry bit (since i was drilling into the tile)

*pencil

Well, step one was to measure and drill into the tile. Needless to say, I was already having trouble. I knew what to do but no matter how hard I pushed, the whole wasn't happening. After about 10 minutes to drilling and a little cussing, Daron made his way into the bathroom and took over. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! I was his handy helper for the day and it took about 3 hours but we got it up and saved a few hundred on installation!
