Get Those Kids Moving!

It might be hard to get yourself to the gym, but it is way easier bringing your kids and letting them run off some energy!

These are my ninjas, they train with me twice a week and we do all kid friendly workouts that help with their daily lifestyle as well as self defense training. They learn to work together and push themselves out of their own comfort zone, while having fun and making new friends.

The girls range from ages 3-12

*The best part? While I am training the kids, moms all have a break and get to workout in our weightlifting area. Some of the dads even train jiu jitsu with the other guys in the gym while waiting.

A typical workout consists of:

a good warm up:

-3 minute jog with skips, butt kickers and high knees

- stretching

Footwork/conditioning:

- 3, 3 minute rounds of jump roping

- group pad work learning new punches, kicks, wrestling or jiu jitsu

- 3, 3 minute rounds on the heavy bag with kicking and punching

To finish off:

-10 pushups

- 10 sit ups

- 10 squats

**Sometimes we like to finish off with a race between all the girls!
